CUPE Alberta warmly welcomes its newest members from Rotary House, an independent living home, and Marshall House, a shelter for the homeless.  Workers voted overwhelmingly to join CUPE.

Their main issues are fair wages and working conditions.

We welcome these support workers into the CUPE family,” says CUPE Alberta President Marle Roberts.  “As members of Canada’s largest union, they will have access to support, resources and education opportunities.”

All twenty employees at Rotary House and ten at Marshall House who voted, chose to be represented by CUPE. They are part of Wood Buffalo Housing in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
