Marty Larocque was elected to CUPE’s National Executive Board as Regional Vice-President for Northern Ontario in October 2025. He also serves as 4th Vice-President on the CUPE Ontario Executive Board.
Marty is an outside worker in Sudbury, and has been a member of CUPE 4705 for 20 years. He now serves as Vice-President for the local, and is also the Area 2 northern representative on the Ontario Municipal Workers Committee. He is the executive liaison to both the CUPE Ontario and CUPE National Health and Safety Committees, pushing to keep members safe at work every day.
Marty is passionate about member engagement and the collective strength of our union. He is committed to building networks and bringing members together to support each other, to help strengthen our collective power.
