Unfortunately, there is a serious understaffing crisis in Ontario’s public education system including at the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario.
The understaffing crisis comes as a result of over a decade of Provincial Government underfunding of public education. Persistent underfunding of public education is forcing cuts to staff at a time when students and schools need more staff not less.
