Saskatchewan children up to the age of 16 are invited to enter an essay contest to express their views of racism and discrimination.

The contest, sponsored by CUPE Saskatchewan’s Committee Against Racism and Discrimination (CARD), is open to all children, whether their parents are CUPE members or not.

Entries - between 500 and 1000 words - must be mailed no later than December 31, with name, address and telephone number to the CUPE regional office in Regina or the CUPE area office in Saskatoon.

The winner, who will be receiving a Nintendo 64, will be announced at the CUPE Saskatchewan annual convention in March 1999.
