Delegates to the Women’s Forum revisited the 1996 Women’s March Against Poverty. They watched the recent CLC video, For Bread and Roses, For Jobs and Justice.

Acting Chair of the Women’s Task Force Daunine Rachert said it was time to evaluate our gains.

Panelist Sylvia Maljan, Local 1972, recounted stories about the women she met and the things she learned on her 2,221 km journey from Saskatchewan to Ottawa. “Women have to learn how to move mountains,” she said.
