On May 18th 2009 to mark Windsor’s 117th birthday, the Mayor began his walk along the river from the west end of the city. Members of the local Arts community began a separate walk where they later met with the Mayor, then both groups were joined by striking CUPE city workers, and continued walking to downtown.
