CUPEs web site will have a daily update on campaign issues and activities, giving members the dirt on Paul Martins privatization agenda and the tools to help take on the privatization pushers in their own community.

Our goal as a union is to get all half million of our members to the polls, says National President Paul Moist. If we can do that, we can have a real impact on this election. We cant let Martins Liberals carve up the public sector among their big business backers.

Organizers across the country will be working to help CUPE members get active in the campaign and to get to the polls.

To help them CUPE has produced an election pamphlet that exposes Martins privatization plans and makes the case for strengthening public services and rebuilding strong communities. As well, activities are being planned at the regional and local level to help reinforce CUPEs key message: Vote for public services.
