CUPE Local 543, representing 1,200 Windsor inside workers, has ratified a new three-year contract with raises of 3 per cent in each of the three years.

The vote settled a four-week long strike that began January 24. The deal, which also included benefit improvements, put an end to the local’s first strike in 23 years.
