On Tuesday, Transport Minister David Collenette delivered a first step in financial help to Canadas struggling airline industry. Now, its time for the federal government and the companies to step up to the task of averting flight attendant layoffs.

Flight attendants have already had more than their fair share of turmoil in the industry. CUPE has a plan that would make layoffs unnecessary.
