Sessional instructors at the University of Victoria 400 strong have won their bid to become members of CUPE. After a year-long campaign, the non-tenured instructors won certification as CUPE 4163.
Robert Fifik, CUPE national organizer said, After an excellent campaign, the new local will spend the summer preparing for bargaining a first collective agreement.
