It’s already a bit of a bestseller. But it’s gotten even more sassy.
Tony Biddle, one of Canada’s leading political cartoonists, has produced a new, improved version of CUPE’s Top Ten Reasons not to vote Conservative. The eight-page illustrated booklet provides the same information as the fact sheet that has been viewed by thousands of visitors to cupe.ca. But Biddle’s biting graphics and popular style will make it even more attractive as an organizing and mobilizing tool.
Download copies and distribute them widely. The election is only a few days away and we want as many CUPE members as possible to have an opportunity to read this before they go to the polls on June 28. Post it to your union bulletin board. Circulate it in the lunch room. Share it with your friends and neighbours.
The Conservatives want to do at the federal level what the privatizing premiers have done at the provincial level - and the results will be disastrous for our communities. Together we can make a difference at the polls.
