A tentative agreement has been reached in the strike involving 125 workers at the Socit du Parc des les in Montra006c. The members of CUPE Local 301 have been on strike since May 31, pressing for better wages and working conditions.
The workers maintain the grounds and operate a wide range of recreation and cultural facilities at Jean-Drapeau Park, on the islands that formed the former Expo site. The employer operates as an arms-length municipal agency.
