The Canadian Union of Public Employees is seeking skilled and experienced individuals to fill short- and long-term temporary positions in administrative roles. Opportunities are available in various departments and branches at CUPE’s National Office in Ottawa, as well as in regional offices across the country.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Strong knowledge of general office procedures and administrative practices.
- The ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Proficiency in English. Bilingual (English-French) oral and written communication skills are considered a strong asset.
- Solid computer skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint.
- Knowledge and understanding of labour movement values and principles.
- The ability to collaborate and work effectively in an inclusive work environment with individuals, staff and teams from diverse backgrounds at all levels of the organization, including union members, and external partners.
Salary: Compensation varies depending on the position. The minimum starting salary is $1,467.72 for a 30-hour work week.
