CUPE water activists are invited to a national meeting that will renew and expand the campaign for public water.

CUPE and the Council of Canadians are celebrating Water Watch’s 10th anniversary with a “Blue Summit” in Ottawa Nov. 27-29, 2009.

CUPE water activists – including water workers and other members interested in water issues – should plan to attend. The weekend will kick off with a 10th birthday party for Water Watch on Friday evening.

Over Saturday and Sunday, participants will learn from each other’s victories and challenges, building a plan for the next decade of promoting public water and wastewater services.

The weekend is a combination of plenaries, workshops and caucuses that aims to renew and broaden our coalition in Canada. Registration is free.
