OSHAWA – Striking custodial and maintenance workers with the Durham Catholic District School Board will hold a rally on Monday evening, August 19th. On Monday, the workers, represented by CUPE Local 218, will have been on strike for one week. The Board shows no signs of wanting to get back to the table and achieve a negotiated settlement with the 170 workers before the new school year begins in September.
