(Halifax) The union representing striking TAs and Part-Time Faculty at Dalhousie University will take a new offer from the employer back to their members for a vote.

CUPE Local 3912 went back to the bargaining table today with the help of a Conciliation Officer. CUPE National Rep. Peter Baxter says, The employer tabled an offer which is going to the membership for ratification beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 30 and concluding at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 3.

Picketing will continue until the results of the ratification vote are made public on Monday evening, says Baxter.

No details of the tentative agreement can be made public until after the vote has taken place.
