The provincial government and Raymond Durepos, have been blaming each other instead of taking responsibility for ambulance services in the Perth area, says Gordon Black, Representative for the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE). Mr. Durepos may run the Southern Victoria Ambulance service, but the province funds him. We say enough is enough. Its time to quit passing the buck and start taking responsibility. Are the striking EMTs the only ones who care that lives hang in the balance?
