TORONTO Sojourn House social service workers will be holding an information picket to protest failed contract talks, at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, July 20th, at Sojourn House, at the Metropolitan United Church on 51 Bond Street. Sojourn House provides housing and outreach services to recent immigrants and refugees in Toronto.

Over 20 housing, outreach and residential counsellors and cooks, represented by Local 3798 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), will be in a legal strike position at 12:01 am, July 22nd. Tuesdays information picket is aimed at raising public awareness and increasing pressure on Sojourn House management to reach a settlement to prevent a strike.
