Windsor – CUPE Ontario President Sid Ryan will be here this weekend, to participate in Windsor’s 4th Annual International Dragon Boat Races at 8 a.m. Saturday morning, at Sand Point Beach on Riverside Drive.
The event is organized to raise funds to fight breast cancer for various breast cancer research and care organizations, including Windsor Regional Hospital.
Ryan will also attend the Dragon Boat Association’s annual dinner Saturday evening at the Cleary Auditorium, to accept an award from race organizers in recognition of CUPE’s efforts in fundraising and participation in the Dragon Boat events.
