(Halifax) Novas Scotias Government House will be the site of a candlelight vigil by frontline workers with womens shelters and transition houses from across the province Monday night.

The workers are urging all concerned Nova Scotians who are outraged at the announced cuts to these vitally important programs to join them for the event.

The One-hour Candlelight Vigil will commence at 8:00 p.m. at Government House (Barrington Street and Salter Street), followed by a march to the Provincial Legislature. There will be speakers at the legislature.
