Public forums on the future of seniors’ care in B.C. scheduled for North Vancouver, tonight, June 25 and in Richmond on June 26 will be rescheduled.

The keynote speaker at the two public meetings, Wendy Armstrong of the Consumers’ Association of Canada - Alberta Branch, cancelled her visit to B.C. due to an unexpected family emergency.

Forum organizers, including the Seniors’ Network B.C., B.C. Nurses’ Union, Hospital Employees’ Union and the Council of Canadians, hope to bring Ms. Armstrong to B.C. at a future date.

Anyone wishing to be contacted with the details of a rescheduled forum can leave a message with Allison Duck at 604-456-7093.
