BURNABY Parents and other community members will attend a public forum next Friday in their continuing fight to restore the multicultural liaison services that were cut from the school budget.

Parents, students, teachers, support workers and community groups strongly objected to the boards decision to cut the services last spring.

A Public Forum Supporting Multicultural Liaison Services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2001, at 6:45 p.m.

Local elected officials will attend the forum at Confederation Centre, 4585 Albert St. in Burnaby.

All interested parties are invited to attend.
