In December 2013 the Cambodian government announced a new minimum wage that fell far below a living wage for garment workers. Adding injury to insult the police and army violently attacked striking garment workers.
Here is a letter that was sent today to the Cambodian embassy on behalf of 22 human right, trade union, student, international and community organization from Canada and Quebec.
