SAINT JOHN – CUPE Presidents from Atlantic Canada are attending the “Reaching Atlantica Business Without Boundaries Conference” this week in Saint John.
The Atlantica initiative envisions a cross-border economic region between Atlantica Canada and the New England States.
CUPE considers the Atlantica’s vision as a threat to workers, because Atlantica seeks harmonization of regulations to create more Labour market flexibility.
CUPE Presidents are available for interviews during the conference. They will also participate at the Rally, Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Saint John, New Brunswick.
