(Halifax) Contrary to some media reports, the strike by Teaching Assistants and Part-time Faculty at Dalhousie University is still on, with a ratification vote now re-scheduled for next week.

CUPE Local 3912 members are invited to attend an information meeting Wednesday, May 25 at 3:00 pm at the Dal Student Union Building.

Voting will take place Thursday, May 27 and Friday, May 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the CUPE 3912 office, Room 316 of the Student Union Building.

The union reached a tentative agreement on Tuesday, May 18. It does not become legally binding until it is ratified by the members of Local 3912.
