Halifax – Contract talks between Saint Mary’s University and CUPE Local 3912, representing approximately two hundred Part-Time Faculty, have resulted in a tentative agreement being reached, which the Union bargaining committee is recommending to its membership.
No details of the tentative agreement shall be released until they are presented to the CUPE members at the ratification meeting. The ratification meeting shall take place Tuesday, March 20th, 2007 between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the Loyola Private Dining Hall.
The CUPE Local 3912 collective agreement expired on August 31st, 2006.
