MEDIA PLEASE NOTE: Beginning Wednesday, August 8, CUPE 107 will provide daily media briefings at 4:00 p.m. in front of City Hall for the duration of hte strike

(London) Members of Local 107 as well as members of the general public and the London and District Labour Council are gathering to voice their solidarity and to urge city council to look at accurate numbers which reflect the true wages and demands of Local 107.

The Canadian Union of Public Employees is Canadas largest union, representing workers in health care, emergency services, education, municipalities, social services, libraries, utilities, transportation and airlines. CUPE represents half a million workers, including 180,000 in Ontario.
