A new television ad, which airs this week, takes aim at the Brad Wall government’s decision to contract-out surgeries in the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region.

“Privatization is the wrong direction for health care,” the ad states, noting for-profit clinics poach scarce health professionals and take health care dollars out of patient care and put them into profits for clinic owners.

The ad, produced by NOW communications, is sponsored by the Canadian Union of Public Employees.
