With the implementation of full-day junior kindergarten and support for wrap around programs, Ontario has created a fantastic opportunity to foster love for reading and learning in all children. It would be tragic to deprive these newest learners of the full resources they need to succeed, and there can be no argument that fully functioning, well staffed and well stocked school libraries should play a major role in the province’s prescription for student success at all grade levels.
