Staff at CUPE’s national office surprised National President Paul Moist with a lunch time celebration of his 30 years of leadership and service to CUPE members.
On May 14, 1983, Moist began his career in CUPE. He served ten years as a national servicing representative, ten years as president of CUPE Local 500, and ten years as national president.
On behalf of all members of CUPE National Secretary-Treasurer Charles Fleury thanked Brother Moist for his ongoing leadership as we celebrate 50 years as a union and ready ourselves for the challenges ahead.
