National President Paul Moist fired a blistering shot at the federal government during a downtown Ottawa rally of about 3,000 people last week (June 19) protesting slow contract talks between the Public Service Alliance of Canada and the government. “They’ve got time to negotiate a free trade agreement with Colombia, one of the most murderous regimes in the world today,” he told an angry crowd. “But they don’t have time to negotiate a fair wage increase with you.”
