CORNWALL, Ont. – Paramedics and the City of Cornwall have reached a tentative deal to establish a new collective agreement, says the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), the union representing Cornwall’s 60 full-time and 20 casual Paramedics.

The Paramedics, members of CUPE 3251-Para, will vote tomorrow night, Thursday, November 27, whether to ratify the tentative deal.  The deal, reached late last night, would replace the old collective agreement, which expired in September 2007.

City Council is expected to hold its ratification vote at its next Council meeting.
