Oshawas city council voted Mar. 10 to build a P3 sports and entertainment complex, but opponents say the fight isnt over.

The people of Oshawa, including the 5,000 CUPE members who live there, will keep a keen eye on this project to make sure residents arent left holding the bag, said CUPE Ontario President Sid Ryan, who joined Oshawa citizens to fight the P3.

Residents were particularly outraged at councils plan to take money out of the public utilities commission to pay for the P3.
