What: Announcement of action to compel the federal government to live up to its obligations under the Canada Health Act

Why: The federal government has for too long been dodging its responsibilities under the Canada Health Act. This negligence puts our public health care system in jeopardy.

CUPE, CEP, the Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions and the Council of Canadians, in their own right and as members of the Canadian Health Coalition, will be announcing actions intended to force the federal government to comply with the Canada Health Act.
