Members of CUPE 122, representing municipal and library workers with the City of North Bay, are highlighting their work and their commitment to the North Bay community in a new advertising campaign.

Members of CUPE Local 122 proudly working in our community

The transit shelter, bus, and billboard ads feature the work of several different types of workers – from library workers to bus drivers and mechanics to water testers – and they demonstrate how central these workers are to making North Bay a great place to live.

“Our members are so proud to deliver great city services in North Bay,” says Brian Phillips, president of CUPE 122. “We are an integral part of the community here, and we wanted to showcase that pride in our work. We think North Bay residents understand just how central our work is to the quality of life in North Bay.”

The local has a long history of also sponsoring events in the North Bay community, and it will continue to do so this fall and winter. Recent events include a $1000 donation to the North Bay Food Bank, sponsoring a major prize and competing in the North Bay Amazing race for Habitat for Humanity, and participating in the Nipissing Lakers’ charity golf tournament.  The local also plans a donation to the Santa Fund in the weeks to come.
