The union representing employees of the Société de transport de Trois-Rivières (CUPE 4115) has announced that close to 86% of its members voted in favour of the tentative agreement presented during negotiations to renew their collective agreement.
“This agreement calls for wage increases totalling 19.5% over six years. Other enhancements include the addition of personal leave, an increase in the number of permanent employees, improvements to the assignment process, and greater financial contributions to the pension plan,” explained CUPE representative Dominic Aubry.
The new collective agreement runs from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2030.
“We are pleased to continue our mission of serving the public in Trois-Rivières,” said Aubry.
