People posing for a photo with flags and signsFollowing an 11-month lockout in Gatineau, Videotron and the Videotron employees’ union, SEVL-CUPE 2815, representing the 214 workers in the Laurentian region reached a tentative agreement on October 2.

“The parties are currently in the process of ratifying this agreement at their respective levels. We will be able to release further details once our members have had a chance to read the agreement,” said Nick Mingione, president of CUPE 2815.

The union will invite its members to attend a special general meeting without delay to present the agreement to them and allow them to cast their vote.
