Child care
Parents need access to affordable, high-quality child care that meets the needs of their kids. Fees for child care have gone down across the country in recent years but they are still too high in too many places. Tens of thousands of families can’t find a daycare spot at all.
To expand access to childcare governments and employers need to recruit more child care workers. This will only be possible with meaningful improvements to wages, benefits and working conditions for early childhood educators and support staff.
CUPE fights for public, quality child care that is accessible to all families. We need child care for all.
