Strike avoided: an agreement reached

CUPE 3333, the union representing bus drivers in Longueuil, Quebec, announced that the parties reached a tentative agreement in mediation.

 

No further information will be released until members have had the chance to review the agreement. A general meeting will be held to ratify it in accordance with the deadlines and procedures laid out in the local’s bylaws and regulations.

 

CUPE 3333 noted that 99.03% of its members voted in favour of a pressure tactics mandate, including a strike. The collective agreement expired on December 31, 2024.
