Local Executive Training logoOpen image in modalMembers of local union executives deal with many expectations and demands. Executive members have many roles, from representing members, to running a local and mobilizing for action. It can feel like a lot of pressure and sometimes it’s hard to know what to do. Even experienced leaders face new challenges every day. CUPE Education is now offering a collection of workshops designed to help you meet those challenges.

Some workshops are for leaders in specific positions such as secretary-treasurers. Others are for any member of the executive. There are also workshops to build skills as a team and help your whole executive work well together.

Local Executive Training can help:

  • Build skills
  • Understand roles
  • Make good decisions
  • Plan
  • Work as a team
  • Deal with conflict
  • Engage and include all members
  • Prepare for the future

Here is a flyer that lists the workshops available to members as part of the Local Executive Training. Contact your education representative.
