Mark your calendars for CUPE’s upcoming national conference on contracting-out and privatization, March 27-30 in Toronto. Members from across the country will gather to celebrate our successes, learn from our losses and strengthen our defences. We’ll be looking at ways to expose and oppose privatization threats. And we’ll be sharing strategies for contracting in work and expanding the public sector to create more jobs for young workers and workers fighting for equality. As well, we’ll be looking at CUPE’s priorities for the coming years as we renew and refocus our anti-privatization efforts. Watch for registration information in the coming weeks.
