Local 500 has launched two new radio ads to highlight the importance of public services including city-run golf courses.

The thirty second golf course ad began airing on June 22 and the quality public services ad started airing on June 23 during the Blue Bomber broadcast on CJOB.

“Public services make Winnipeg a great place to live and work,” said Mike Davidson, CUPE Local 500 President. “And it’s our members who, whether it’s keeping our water pure and safe, grooming our parks or providing recreational opportunities, are the ones who are there for us, everyday.”
