CUPE Locals 2069, 1655 and 3728, at the New Brunswick Centre, hosted their 11th Annual Blood Donor Clinic on December 17th, 2007.

Over 70 peoples attended this clinic in anticipation of Saving Lives.

Also lending a hand with the sponsorship were the Plumbers & Pipefitters UA Local 213, the International Brotherhood of Boiler Makers Lodge 73, Saint John & District Labour Council and Higgins General Insurance Ltd., strong supporters of the work CUPE members do to save lives.

Donors placed a red ornament on the centre’s tree to symbolize brightening a life during the holidays.

Attendees were treated to homemade refreshments, random prize draws, door prizes and the voices of Shanklin Road local area singing group.

The locals sponsor this annual clinic to make sure there is enough blood and blood products for patients in our Hospital over the Holiday Season.
