  1. Supporting a minimum dues requirement for all locals. This would ensure all CUPE locals have the necessary resources to represent and protect their members, keep them informed and involved, and to participate actively in the labour movement.

Finally, the National Executive Board has agreed with the National Defence Fund Task Force that strike benefits remain at $200 per week; that all dues paying members who perform strike duties remain eligible for strike pay; and that the current strike pay provisions under the National Defence Fund Regulations be maintained.
