CUPE’ s Union Development Department is proud to host the 5th Annual André Lamoureux Memorial School taking place at the Nav Centre.

Brother André Lamoureux was a dedicated union activist, who began his career within the School Board Sector before proudly becoming a National Servicing Representative within the Cornwall Area. He went on to occupy a position as Assistant Regional Director as well as Assistant Director of Organizing and Regional Services and was greatly respected by his fellow Sisters and Brothers. It is with great honour that we commemorate André by naming this Educational Opportunity after him, in the area that he originated.
