LET - Parliamentary Procedure

LET - Bylaw Essentials (OLS)

Good bylaws are an essential component of a well-functioning local. In this online workshop, you will learn the principles of good bylaws and how to make sure they are in compliance with CUPE's national constitution. We'll also look at how clear language bylaws help our members get involved in the work of the union.

Advanced Social Media

In today’s digital world, social media is one of the most powerful tools unions can use to build solidarity, amplify worker voices, and push back against misinformation. This two-day, hands-on training is designed specifically for CUPE locals who want to strengthen their existing online presence and use social media strategically to support organizing, advocacy, and member engagement.

You'll learn how to create compelling content, navigate platform algorithms, build a communications plan, and handle challenging situations online, all through a labour-focused lens. You will also create content during the course that you will schedule for use on your social media channels.
