Read CUPE National President Paul Moist’s letter to Prime Minister Paul Martin calling on the Liberal government to take action to meet the UN’s millennium goal of 0.7% of national GDP for foreign aid.
In the letter, CUPE also calls on Canada to increase efforts to convince the international community to provide comprehensive debt relief to Third World nations.
