Every local union needs a set of rules that govern how it spends money, chooses leaders and makes decisions.

These are known as bylaws.

To help make life easier for leaders of a newly-organized local, CUPE has developed model bylaws.

Adapt these bylaws to fit your circumstances and submit them to the CUPE national office.
