(St. John’s) – The union representing school secretaries in the Eastern Region of the Eastern School Board is holding an information meeting today at 4:30 to discuss recently announced cuts to staffing.
Local 1560 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees has been informed by the Eastern School Board that 13 different schools under their jurisdiction will have secretarial hours reduced by a total of 105 hours per week.
The meeting will be held at the Knight’s of Columbus hall on St. Clare Avenue. at
4:30 pm, Tuesday July 3.
