CUPE supports disability rights

CUPE supports community organizations calling for federal action on other disability rights. We endorse the Blueprint for Canada’s National Action Plan on Violence Against Women and Girls, which would improve crisis services and other programs for women with disabilities. CUPE is proud to work with the DisAbled Women’s Network of Canada, which campaigns on health, violence, poverty and other concerns of women with disabilities.

We encourage you to raise these and other disability rights issues in the federal consultation.
